Description

The GCv is a time-of-flight mass spectrometer. High resolution and accurate mass determination are routine. This machine is used to analyze smaller synthesized molecules ionizable through (GC) EI, CI FD.

This instrument requires a high level of training to operate and is therefore only available through the associated specialist(s). The machine was obtained together with the Ecogenomics group (Nicole van Dam) to support the research in Plant metabolomics.
